Hi both, How's it going? Hope you have a fab time in Cairns, hope you got my text - you have to go to the Sheep Shed (if it is still there) very good food, cheap beer and dancing on tables. DO NOT go onto the beach - or should I say muddy stretch close to the sea, because of the crocs - I'm sure something was on the news a year ago about a croc pulling someone out of a tent in Cairns!! No Croc wrestling Ga - ta very muchly!! The drunk locals are very amusing, they're a bit like me with too much alcohol - RUBBISH!! My little newphew Danny is the most gorgeous thing in the whole world, apart from Emily of course. Jamie has got his shark diving at end of month - in Ellesmere Port - hardly Sydney, but I think it will be ace fun - especially for me taking the photos on the dry-none-teethy side of the glass. Well no more news really -apart from I am now a brunette - and feeling extremely pale. By the way how is the suntan coming along? Can't believe you've been away for so long - I think you right not to rush to Sydney for Christmas - you would miss loads of stuff if you rush down the coast. Well think I'll stop waffling on now - like the sunsets, wish I was there. Hi guys, just another quick message to let you know that I got the job... let my work know today that went down like a lead balloon... Spoke to Sam last night Ali, her and bump are doing fine, the docs and nurses are keeping a watchful eye on her in case the pre-eclampsia happens again (yes I know that is prob not spelt right) I am prob meeting up with her within the next week or two so I will send her your love. Got exciting news.....we're leaving Darwin, hooray hooray hooray!! It's been far too long here! Booked flights for 7th November to Cairns, although we fly via Brisbane and stop there for about an hour. Can't wait to go now. It's been fun here but everyone we met and hung out with for the last month have all gone now - although we've still got the friends we've met through work, but it's bit boring now as we're staying in to save as much as we can in the next 2 weeks. Although that's no bad thing, I can hardly talk what with working in the bar and going out everynight my voice has turned to crap! So anyway that's my most exciting news to do with us.....

Whilst I think of it, BIG congratulations to Emily & Jamie (and Mags) on their engagement this week - so happy for you, expect you realised that when I rang you at 3am in the morning (my time). Keep me up to date with all the wedding plans - if it's Spring then I will want photos straight after, and if it's later than that then I'm inviting us along!! Lots of love to you all, and kiss for Mags x

Also should probably apologise to everyone I left drunken voicemails with the other night, erm Em, Matt, Amy, Carina, Emily - probably a few more who I've forgotten!! I added a few more pics to the website the other day, just of a couple of nights out at The Vic yet again! Was a good night though, we won a 3 day tour around Ayers Rock, a fishing trip, staff priced drinks, 4 jugs of beer, free dinner - thats a pretty successful night, although we took part in a lot of stupid games to get all that.

Weather here is averaging about 40 degrees every day and it's about 70% humidity - not really sure what that means but that's what I was told!! All I know is it's hot. Should really try and do a bit of sunbathing today on my day off as tan has completely gone, feeling a bit pasty!

We were walking round the supermarket the other day and it had all these santa and reindeer toys, christmas cards etc and we were like why have they got them out already, then we realised that it is November! Takes abit of getting used to it being this hot during winter! Think we're going to head towards Byron Bay for Christmas. We know alot of people that are going to be in Sydney but not sure whether we want to go there so soon, it would mean rushing the east coast into the next 2 months and then we've still got 2 months left and apart from Melbourne, not sure where else to go after Sydney.

Whilst talking about moving on, Good Luck with the move to Cork, Ireland Matt! Make sure your Mum packs you a hanky hey!! No seriously I think it's a great move, you were beginning to blend in too much with the Towcester wallpaper!

Can't think of much else going on so will write again soon.
