Its my birthday (Amy) on Monday- just me and Rach going out- sad- fancy popping back for a few wines??? and I have to tell you that its Terrys on Thurs- oh and Guinness s on Fri!!!!! Gossip?- well there is none apart from Rach is pregnant with triplets- Rich has run off with Louise and Jamies is staying in Turkey to become a nun! On a more serious note- Rich passed his driving test so its pissed nights for me Tezza and Rach and sober nights for Rich!!

Hello everyone.
Our 2nd day in Hong Kong and all is good. The view when landing is quite breathtaking - lots of green mountains and little islands, and then huge skyscrapers. It's an amazing place and so busy all the time. Stayed in hotel on our 1st night and then we found ourselves a hostel yesterday so booked in for a couple of nights. Some of them looked really dodgy - ours was definately the best! Delightful!
We stayed in Kowloon Bay on the 1st night - when we arrived it was dark and with all the flashing lights and big neon signs it looked just as you imagined. We went round the night market, then went to a local restaurant and had a fish dish - all the fish and some of the meat is alive and in tanks outside the front of the restaurant - so next time we will choose our own fish. After dinner we finished off with karoke with the locals on a street corner, drinking Chinese Tea! Had a little dance too!

Came over to Hong Kong Island yesterday and staying in Causeway Bay. Had a few drinks in the red light district last night! Ga was more interested in getting me in one of the 'clubs' not him, I declined.

Tonight we're going to The Peak, which is the best viewpoint of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon Bay, so should have some pretty good photos to upload after that. Having problems finding somewhere to upload them at the moment, but hopefully find somewhere else tomorrow.

It is very hot and humid here. Really sunny but have had a little rain - which was warm! We walked about 2 miles with our rucksacks on yesterday - took us 4 hours to get where we were going coz we had to keep stopping and resting. Ga's a right sweaty minger! Ga now wants me to right something insulting about myself so we're equal but I won't...

Wednesday is our last day here and to save money Ga is making me sleep in Hong Kong airport Wednesday night - and so we make sure we get to our flight on time as it's quite early morning and it's about 30 minutes from the centre of Hong Kong.

The scaffolding out here is made from bamboo - did you know that!?!

Well gonna go now, ga needs a number 2. Hope everyone's well and we will email soon.
