Any day is a good day when your visiting a new country!!! But this one started off pretty average....

I had a pretty bad sleep last night, probably a combination over my hangover from the day before and anxiousness that my make shift alarm clock would wake me in time for the flight. Eventually got the the airport with a feeling that I'd forgotton something.......just couldn't put my finger on it.

I'm now in Singapura at the airport with another hour to wait for my flight to Phuket. Its been close to eight years since I've been in SE Asia and this airport hasn't changed much except for the Singaporian's obsession with gadgets. On the flight from Perth I noticed that Sinapore Airways even has a gadget channel where you can buy a useless techno item for just about everything. I get off the plane and there are sensor operated doors, water fountains and urinals! Wow, with all these sensors I thought I'd check out a toilet cubicle, alas there are some things that haven't been gagetised yet.

I'm about to run out of time so I'll add more once in Phuket. Memory flash!!!!! I didn't let the cat out before I left! Oh, well I'll be back in a month.........
