Hello hello...

...greetings from our very last stop (together!) We are only here in Singapore for a couple of days - well i only get 2nights and 1 full day while joe is here for 3nights and days. It's a very cool city, but unfortunately also a very wet one. Im hoping for a dry Oz, even if it is a little chilly there, though their idea of 'cold' is probably very different from ours back in England!

Not much to report, as this last week has been pretty chilled out - saw the sights of Kuala Lumpur and did some shopping (another very cool city) and were absolutely blown away by the Petronas Towers - really really disappointed though because the VERY cool pics we took of it are on the new memory card that i bought there which is now not working, it cant be read by the computer, either to be burnt to disk or uploaded onto here....so we cant do anything at all with all the pics we have taken the last couple of days. Anyway, determined, despite the apprehension and sadness about tomorrow looming over us, to have a good night tonight. Possibly doing a night safari around Singapore Zoo and then heading down to the Quay for dinner....the last supper!!! Havn't been up to much since we have been here - had a mammoth unpacking, swapping and repacking session yesterday when we arrived at the hostel, then just ate, drank and watched the Liverpool match in the area we are staying! Today we indulged over a seriously tasty choc fudge cake and coffees at the Quay (i fully intend to make the most of treating myself while its still relatively affordable before getting to Oz!) and just strolled around before the heavens opened - the roads are now looking very river-esque, not unlike Penang - and we decided to seek shelter here in the internet cafe...maybe the Night Safari will have to be called off?!?!?

Will let you all know how i survive my first few days in Oz alone, im not sure what they will make of me, arriving puffy eyed and emotional!!! You will all be seeing Joe soon, so i will send him back with lots of hugs to give everyone!

Downloading some pics now, though short of Kuala lumpur and Singpore ones due to the rrrrrrrrrrrrrrubbish memory card!!!

Right, off to brave the torrential downpour and i will be in touch soon with some news from down under....all 'g'day', roo encounters and bbq's!
