Having a very unlucky time at the moment as the money monster hangs around trying to spoil my fun.My tax number took so long to come through that I still haven't been paid from work and now the old credit card company is telling me off for not paying the monthly minimum.Personally I blame RBS who must have cancelled the direct debit, seeing as I haven't touched the account since I came away…anywho, easily solved…you would think!!!Tried earlier to rectify the problem but of course I don't have that stupid card reader contraption which the banks just introduced before I came away…so I am stuck in this mess and to top it all off IT'S BLOODY RAINING!!!

Have been complaining about the weather all day in true brit style, whilst festering in my pj's (plus jeans, jumper and ankle warmers as its so cold in this prehistoric- but very cute - flat) and only leaving my bed for the toilet and food!No work tonight, so I am staying firmly put with a dvd and lots of cups of tea; venturing into town is just inviting trouble.

I reckon it's time for an update on my nocturnal antics eh?!Well, where to begin…!It was Valentina's birthday on Saturday so once I had got off work I joined an already very drunk lady (stamped with 'If found please return to 95 Thompson St, for the care of Vicky'…just in case) for our usual haunts World Bar and Bardeaux with a bit of fluro-tastic action at Winnies thrown in for good measure, where we also acquired some free pizza nabbed for us especially by our friend the bouncer (it's pretty handy knowing people in this town!).We then ended up at a bar called the Boiler Room in time to see the sun coming up and then let our stomachs lead the way to Novotel where we had a very civilized buffet breakfast SLASH the best meal ever!!!The boys left feeling very proud of themselves with fruit juice medallions round their necks, which they had hilariously pilfered, while Valentina chose to end her night dive-bombing a row of wheelie bins. Meanwhile I followed on behind trying desperately not to wet my pants and occasionally having a breakfast muffin thrown at my head by the delightful Dion, aka. Mr. Tomato Juice.By 7.30am we were all tuckered out and snuggled up!Ahhh, just another night in Queenstown.

Apologies for delay in posting this blog…seeing as the above was a fair few days ago I'll add in some more news for you.So as im writing this on Saturday evening a couple hours before starting work, sitting in my quaint little shared room, having just enjoyed another beautiful and romantic dinner with Valentina (we make the BEST meals and both love our food…Valentina is definitely my Mathilde of NZ!) it is only another 6 days before mum and dad come out and only another 5 shifts at the bar.I am of course so looking forward to seeing them but of everywhere I have been this is going to be the hardest place to leave.I feel like im only just starting to fit right into the family over here and I don't want to leave them, or the most beautiful town I've ever seen.I could easily spend another year at least here…so, if I disappear again someday you may well have a good idea where to find me!

Havn't been up to all that much since I last wrote.Went for a walk the other day with Valentina and another German girl Britta but as we couldn't find the track that we were looking for and being a pretty warm sunny day we thought a dip in the lake would be the next best thing.A few pointers to help express the influence that me and Valentina are on each other….1) The sun must have gone to our heads because it wasn't that warm AT ALL and we spent the rest of the afternoon freezing! Either that or whoever first put forward the idea (I cant remember who it was due to the extreme cold shocking all sense and memory out of me) was having a momentary lapse of mental stability because also… 2) we didn't have bikinis on and 3) the lake was right alongside a main road at this point!Aaaaall good fun!

Finally i get round to actually posting this...plus some pics for you all. Off ice skating now, i"ll be sure to capture some moments from that also for your amusement!
