Today marks the day that I particpate in my first of what I believe will be many International Space University (ISU) SSP14 reunions. I sitting on this transatlantic flight, thinking I can't believe I agreed to this, but I'm glad I did. If you know me, you know that I unfortunately have subscribed to this idea that you work hard year-round and you remain present in the job and great things will happen to you... I know that's so AMERICAN. If I learned nothing else last summer in Montreal, I learned that you have to LIVE and simply not just survive.
Last fall, some of the most fantastic people I have ever met, came to visit in Florida. These were friends I made over the summer in Montreal, who taught me to not take life so serious and to not forget to stop and smell the roses, or better yet dance with one in my mouth. We all decided that we would meet up in Europe for a holiday. Little did I know, how serious I was when I first committed. So hear I am on a plane, flying to Olso Norway to meet up with friends, to travel through Scandanavia (Norway, Sweden, and Denmark), Austria, and Hungary.
I probably should rest, I'm thinking jet lag is going to be a beast tomorrow, after I wake up in Oslo. Side note... when will be be able to navigate the planet via hypersonic travel?
