Bonjourno. Back in Italia for the day and what a day it's been. Checked out of the Hostel at 10 yesterday mornin n basically spent the whole day doin nothin. We spent about 3hours in the park eatin ham n cheese sarnys n watchin people play football. Then we ate ice cream for 2hours in the main street n sent postcards. That really is everythin we did for the entire day. The train journey home was going well untill the carriage got invaded by the Americans. Lukily for us they were fit so it wasnt all bad. Today was very close to being a total disaster but was rescued by an act of sheer stupidity on Lukes behalf. We spent 3hours from 6 till 9 messin about sortin tickets n that out for tonight n thought it said 15:07 which meant we had to do all the stuff in Florance in just a few hours which is impossible. It wasnt untill 3 that we realised that the tickets actually said 21:00 on them so we had a few more hours to wait. Me n Daveyboy seized the opportunity to do some of the stuff we missed out on earlier so off to the Uffizi gallery. This place is amazing. The highlight of it is Botticellis "Birth of Venus". Its a picture I loved before I saw it but its an even more powerful image when you see it up close. Theres a loada other stuff there aswell including work from all for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Michealangelo, Danatelo, Rapheal and Leonardo. Also got to see Michealangelos statue of David which stands just outside a famous building thats showed in the film Hannibal. Shortly we'll be setting off to Munich on the night train and then back to Italy again tomorrow to finally go to Venice. Stay tuned folks.
