Rome was more fantastical than we could have imagined!

Most historical town or cities have a smattering of old buildings here and there, spread far and wide across the country. But Rome...every which way you turn there is a monument or structure in all its ancient glory, staring you in the face. From the Colosseum, you look onto the Forum and a few steps away is the Plaza Populo and round the corner is the Pantheon, just a short stroll from the Trevi Fountain...its endless and amazing.

We met up with our great friend from Bunbury, Michael Twomey, who was also visiting! We had a few big nights out (rugby grand final) and a few big days sightseeing. We had lots of fun taking silly photos but we had to, to keep warm. It was freeeeezing!
