The bus took us back home and dropped us at the Vietnam War Remnants Museum. It was very powerful and moving. There were sickening stories about the deaths of soldiers and also innocent civilians and children. There was also a gallery of recent photos of people who are still affected by the events of the Vietnam War to this day. Today we went to see the Cu Chi Tunnels, the underground passage ways used by the Viet Cong! We had the pleasure of having An as our tour guide again. We learnt some facts about the tunnels - it took a total of about 25 years to dig, the locals lived down there for 9 whole years!
