We kept today simple. Lunch at Ko restaurant at Larcomar meant that we found Cristian, Pat and Irene's Peruvian friend, and we invited him around for NYE celebrations wur us (the food at Ko was incredible, too!). Afterward, we visited the supermarket, Wong's, to get ingrediants for mushroom pasta, then we head back to the apartment, realised we were locked out, and hung out by the rooftop pool until Pat and Irene returned.

The rest of the evening was lovely. Cristhian and his family - Mercedes and little Abril - came over, we ate a lot, watched the two hours (!) of fireworks together, and everyone got high and I babysat Abril. Abril and I played games in Spanish where I was apparently the daughter and she the mother, and I had no idea what was going on.
