After over 11 months we have arrived back to where it all began - Perth. It's been one hell of a journey and an absolutely amazing time. Although our hiatus may be over (for now) this is only the beginning... Aaron's tasting notes - a few pints of Little Creatures Pale Ale (brewed just down the road) was a great welcome back...

After a ridiculous amount of sweating in the jungle, the cool temperatures of the Cameron Highlands felt great. We got up early to avoid the mass of tourists to enjoy the tea plantations to ourselves and relax with a nice cup of local tea...

After a long bus ride and a 3 hour boat journey up the the river, we finally made it to the inner depths of the jungle. We spent the day hiking and exploring the jungle (whilst trying to fend off the abundance of leeches) and walking through the jungles canopy's via the cool canopy walkways.

We spent a day exploring the old town Melaka (the new town seemed to consist of shopping malls) and enjoying the local Malaysian food again.

We had a Shiok (means extremely awesome in Singapore - apparently...) time in Singapore over Christmas and New Year enjoying walks around the Botanic Gardens, MacRictchie Park and the Southern Ridges; taking in the many sights of the city and eating loads of awesome food.
