The rain eventually stopped and the first sights of the snow capped spectacular Rocky Mountains started to come into view through the clouds. The snow, hikers with skies and relentless Grizzly bear warning signs meant we where now in Alberta. We braved the snowing conditions (we only had shorts...!!!) to enjoy spectacular views of Lake Louise and partly freeze at the campsite (although the log fire kitchen helped us thaw out in the evening). More excellent views and hiking was enjoyed at Moraine Lake before checking out Banff to finish off a short but awesome trip through Alberta.
