A quick day in Singapore before I caught my connecting flight to Brisbane and I spent the day having a little shopping trip and doing a bit of clothes washing. The next day I was up and ready for my flight to Brisbane. Another amazing emirates flight with yummy food, lots of good movies and comfortable reclining chairs. I arrive into a very dark, gloomy and rainy Brisbane and question the taxi driver into how long it will be like this (very disappointed!) i am told it will only be a couple of days.
All checked into my hostel and I explore the city centre. I hired a bike and cycled round (in the rain) until I got too wet and grumpy. Stopped on market street, only a little but of shopping (I don't have an addition I swear!) and I watched some very bizzare street theatre. Some people pretending to water ski. As in no water. Just a rope. Australians are strange. then back to the hostel where I enjoyed a free BBQ ready for my flight to Sydney in the morning!
