Day Sixty Three - September 7th, 2013 Kakadu National Park We packed up and left Katherine, and drove the 200 or so kilometres to Kakadu National Park. We stopped to buy our permit ($25 per person for up to 14 days), and started or drive in. Day Sixty Two - September 6th, 2013 Katherine Gorge After a much needed sleep in, we were on the road by 10 and headed out to the Katherine homestead. Unfortunately, it was closed, possibly for the start of the wet season, so we had to press on. The small grave site just outside the gates made for grim reading. Day Sixty - August 4th, 2013 Darwin We will be away early tomorrow so spent the morning pottering around the tent (after being abruptly woken by someone mistaking our tent) and packing up for our trip into Kakadu.
