Hey Everyone,

We arrived in Koh Lanta and went to our guesthouse Lantas Lodge Resort which was to be the most expensive guesthouse of our entire time in Asia. Upon first impressions we definitely saw the reason for this, we had a self contained bungalow including en-suite which boasted a large front window with amazing sea views!

The story of Koh Lanta wasn't to be as perfect as the start sounds though, on our first night we were joined in our room by what seemed like hundreds of cockroaches with the staff coming to and from the bungalow three times to get rid of them and eventually having to move us to another bungalow which, although wasn't as new, was pretty much identical. After this little fiasco we spent the next 3 days on the island just chilling and enjoying what the resort had to offer in terms of food, drink and free wifi.

We did venture out of the resort once and hired a moped to head into town and do a spot of shopping for essentials such as sun glasses, a bag and a sarong!!! Ok, not essential but things we wanted!!!
