Well, didn't expect the last flight to deliver such a crazy ride.

Left at a comfortable 2230 after a lovely send off. Started watching Wolverine but before I knew it, my eyes were closed and I was asleep. Two hours or so later I wake to hearing the captain saying that he has been talking to engineers as there was a problem with the plane. I was quite confused as I has no idea what was going on as I was asleep.

So as we kept flying, I realised that things were quite serious. Two things specifically told me this. We needed to make an emergency landing and when I looked to my right, I saw a man in the emergency brace position, as if we were going to crash...

But luckily, we landed, and I had no idea where we were. When the seat belt sign was turned off, I got up and spoke to the air hostess who said we were in Brisbane and it had taken us two hours to get there from Sydney as we could only travel at 9000 feet because the machine that makes the pressure right in the cabin was broken.

We sat on the plane for an hour as they fixed it. I finished Wolverine (good movie by the way) and then we get the joyous news that we are good to go. Two hours behind schedule and I was lucky enough to have a four hour wait in Narita airport which is where I currently sit now.

Japan from the windows of the airport looks great! Will definitely have to come back. And don't worry, I definitely checked out those epic toilets they have :)

Flight to Frankfurt next and then on to Estonia. YEWW!
