Finally got around to our next blog! Kuala Lumpur was fantastic, it's the city that never sleeps! Its not unusual to be sat in the street eating chicken wings with chilli paste at 6.00am after a night on the town.

After arriving via taxi (who didnt know where he was going and dropping us randomly in the middle of the city) we finally found our hostel to our relief. As we checked in we were shown around by Raymond (the hostel manager) and told about the amenities and also casually told that Leona Lewis would be performing at 10.00pm at the bottom of the Street for Halloween....After laughing at Raymonds joke about Leanoa we headed out only to find that she actually was performing on the same street we were staying. The night was amazing and we watched a number of dance offs (Shazzer also participated in one!) Video to follow! Also met a great bunch of people the first night namely Chris, Anne and Tina who we spent alot of our stay with.

We saw all the great sights including the KL Bird park in which Shazzer REALLY REALLY wanted to go to...only to say after been there 5minutes that she finds birds boring and wants to go to the Orchid garden instead!...wouldn't mind but we paid around $40 to get in!! NOTE the Orchid garden had about 6 flowers in it and I think 5 of them were weeds.

The highlight had to be the drinks & cocktails on our final night in the Sky Bar overlooking the brightly lit Petrona towers, which Chris kindly took us to! The night didn't end there oh no!...in fact we carried on until the morning, which caused us to miss our flight out to Phuket. So after sobering up in the airport we booked another flight and headed off...This is not the first nor the last time we suffered from time management problems! It gets worse...

Overall KL is a fab place, food was amazing, along with the people and we would go back in a flash!
