Sunday 11th March:

Had a lie in this morning and waited for our roomates to go before we got up, there's not a lot of space to move around in these hostels! Bought a phone card for only $20 and had 5000 minutes so that should be good. A really sweet guy showed us how to get to Darling Harbour and walked us there. It was so nice and such a great atmosphere, we saw the convention centre, chinese gardens and some pretty water fountains. The harbour was really nice and very clean. We went to the Imax cinama which has the biggest screen in the world. We donned the 3D glasses and watched a 45 minute documentary called 'Deep Blue' with Jonny Depp and Kate Winslet narrating. It was very interesting and amazing effects.

We took a long walk back to Circular Quay and walked through 'The Rocks' where Nicole Kidman has an apartment and bought J's birthday present. We also walked through the Opera Bar to the Opera house where we had a great view of the harbour, it was beautiful and the building is so cool. In the evening we went out as a treat for our last night in Sydney and had a 3 course meal over-looking the harbour and opera house and watched the sunset, what more could you ask for!? An amazing end to our time in Sydney.
