Alright We are in Kaikoura now - we have to drop our campervan off in christchurch this afternoon - emma had been hoping to swim with dolphins today but there a strong south-westerly wind so no luck - its also raining really heavy which makes me think off home - and how crap it gonna be gettin back! On Monday we did our glacier walk at Fox Glacier - thats it in the picture - it was pretty cool - we had to hike up a pass to reach glacier then attach our crampons so we no slide about on the ice - we were up on the ice for about 4-5 hours - got to crawl thru ice tunnels and caves and the scenery was braw - it was a wee bit chilly tho - strangely enough - and we both cought wee colds - aw! Next day we drove up to Hanmer Springs - on the way we stopped at the Monteith Brewery for a tour - it was quite good - we saw a 20,000 litre pint of beer - it was the sexiest thing i have ever seen! We also got to do a fair bit of beer tasting which is always nice. Hanmer Springs has these big thermal pools - we thought they were natural but when we arrived they turned out to be heated swimming pools - it was ok tho - had a game of mini-golf after that - cause emma still wasn't feeling that great i let her draw with me. Today cause we no going to see dolphins we thinking about a wine tour - then its back to christchurch this evening. Hope everyone well Whats the crack with the lack of msg's on the site eh?
