Greetings all Just to clear upany confusion the picture is Niagra Falls and we are not there - we are in chicago but there was no pictures of that! Chicago is a cool place - really nice city. We were supposed to arrive here on thursday but had to delay flying for a day causeof some bad lightening - when we arrived at airport we booked a cab for $25 - when it arrived the driver was like \'OMG u want to go to downtown it gonna b $50 and take 2 hours\' we informed him we were not paying that and he got allupset and confused - looked like he might cry - in the end we got dropped back at airport and got metro for $2 each - bargain! The hostel is in Lincoln Park and its a real nice area - we went to downtown on the 1st day to all the big fancy shops and got lunch at a place called Pot-bellies - great subs! We a bit worried about having pot-bellies when we get back tho. Yesterday we went to the shops around Lincoln Park - i got a pair of jeans for $23 they had 75% off - quite pleased about that. Then to Lake Michigan - the day before had been really cold and we just had on shorts and t-shirts so were freezinng - today we put on warmer clothes and it was boiling! The Lake is huge - u cant see the other side. We went to club B.L.U.E.S to take in some blues music - it was pretty good - the lead singer Lil Ed was a very animated little chap - loads of funny faces and he really got lost in the music!
