Saturday 24th Nov

As we didn't get to bed till late, we were hoping to have a lie in which we needed it after too many early mornings. Unfortunately we were next to the building work which were making alot of noises at 8am. You may wonder how we woke up by that, especially with our deafness. It was by the vibrations, it definately alerted us big time!

As we couldn't return back to sleep, we decided to go on the laptop in bed to waste time. We decided to have a wander around in the city. There were market stalls going on in the cathedral square which we had a look around. Lisa spotted the necklace she liked and bought it. You can see it in the photo.

You will also notice other photos of Lisa's watch from Nelson and Daniel's necklace from Waitomo, so you can have a peek to see what they are like.

Basically we haven't done anything today, apart from going to the supermarket on the free shuttle for our tea. On our walk back to the shuttle bus stop to return back to the hostel, we stopped by at the electrical shop where we spotted a webcam. Daniel decided to buy it so we can keep in touch with you guys, maybe over xmas time.

Daniel was worn out from sturggling to walk on the crutches, so we decided that it was enough for the day and returned back to the hostel. We spent most of the day, just being on the net and cooking our tea.

Tomorrow, checking out at 10am to catch a bus to Kaikoura at 11.45am. Dolphins time!! :D

On Daniel's health, he is walking much more, less pain around the knee so hopefully he will be better by tomorrow to carry his own rucksack! :P
