Dan - YOU GOT A HAIR CUT !! You could still do with a shave though (only winding you up!)
Sorry you were queasy when you were on the boat, I hate that!
Work has been CRAZY! I have been working nights over the past couple of nights and i'm back working nights tomorrow. At the time of writing this it is 10.35am, I got home from work at 7.50 and I have done the shopping and i'm thinking I should have a little sleep!!
Anyway, won't make this message too long. Glad you enjoyed your swim with the dolphins, I bet it was magical.

Hey!
Just a quick message to say swimming with the dolphins might actually be of great benefit to your knee. Swimming is one of the best things you can do.

Yo be honest, it has been weeks since I've read your blogs. I'll explain in a minute.
What incredible experiences you have had thus far! I have enjoyed looking at pictures, and reading your blogs....I know you must realize how special this is, and will be in your lives. Not many people get to do what you are doing, and certainly not at your age!!!!
I fibbed in my last message to you, as my health has gone downhill quickly. My seizures are increasing steadily, and I have been on what is called "Home Health Care", where they send a nurse to my house each day to start an IV of steroids, take my vital signs, etc. Hopefully the IV's will help me get back on my feet. My seizures occur mostly at night, but have had some during the day as well. It makes me wonder if this is the beginning of the end, as I have been getting steadily worse since about August. Walking has become extremely difficult, and as a result I cannot go grocery shopping even, as it is just to big a task to accomplish. Throughout it all I am trying to keep my chin up because I know there are people that are worse off than me, but it is discouraging to have Multiple Sclerosis and not know what is around the corner.
I am trying to visit my son and my dad in Arizona right now, and unfortunately needed a wheelchair to get to my plane, get to the luggage areas, etc. Now that I am here, all I want to do is sleep because I am so tired. They have me an 23 different medications now for seizures, pain, and trying to reduce the symptoms. I cannot drive except for 1-2 miles (and only going about 20 miles per hour), as I don't trust myself behind the wheel anymore - I never know what I will lose control of my legs, arms and body from a seizure. My doctor has ordered physical therapy to try to get some of the feeling back into my legs, which means Josh has to drive me to the doctor's (which is 75 miles one way), wait for me, and then drive me home - through which I usually sleep because I am so tired from them moving my legs. Thank goodness I have my wheelchair, but even with that Josh will be doing all the Christmas shopping and decorating, as I simply don't have the energy. It appears that you came to visit me at a good time, because at that time I was extremely tired and was in pain, and a little out of balance with my gait, but thank the Lord I was able to enjoy your company. They have an experimental treatment, which I have been considering. They kill all the platelettes in your body with Chemotherapy (after harvesting a few), and then transplant those few back into your body and allow them to regenerate. The idea is to dilute the bad cells that are destroying the myletin, and then hopefully allowing for a complete remission. I am considering it, however must admit am a little frightened as out of 60 people they have tried it on, 6 have died from the procedure. But on the positive side, that means that 54 have had success. One drawback is that they do this in Wisconsin, and I would have to be in a sterile environment, away from my family even, for 8 months.
I love looking at your pictures and wish I could enjoy just one day of what you are experiencing. What a treasure for the rest of your lives.
I started a new job for a physician in town. He is wonderful, as he totally understands my disease, and allows me to rest - actually encourages me to rest - whenever I need to. It is very close to home, and on the way to work for my husband to give me a lift to and from work. I love this job! Thank goodness I have a job!
Jake, my son, is doing extremely well in college, and is going to get a 4.0 GPA this semester. That is straight A's. My daughter will graduate from college in february, and all her grades have been A's, except one B+. My daughter also bought a house, and closes on it December 7th. On December 8th, she is going to start working on it, as she wants to redo a lot of things in it. She and Mike are going to get married in March. When she moves out, she will be taking Wookie with her. We will miss her and her dog very much, but she will just be on the other side of town.
Well, I am being "pushed" to go to bed, so I must. I love hearing, reading and seeing your adventures. Again, please email me if you still need a place to stay in Africa, so I can recontact the Pastor and get names and addresses for you.
Love to you both!!!!

Hey you two!
Thanks for the update. Lisa - you are brave doing ANY bungee jump!! I would be too scared. Glad you are having a great time.
Our house move is going from bad to worse. We were meant to move on 15th Nov and that didn't happen... if we don't move by 27th Nov then we won't be moving until the end January. Keep your fingers & toes crossed for us!

Hello guys and gals,
Haven't been able to update the blog but we are checking the msgs from time to time with few mins to spare on the net. Being on the internet is a fortune in New Zealand.
Been doing alot of adventures lately, which is costing us alot of money but worth it. Tomorrow, we are going to do the Shotover Jet and Canyon Swing. And the next day, going to do Mad Dog Surfing. To find out what they are, check on google yourself ;)
Lisa booked a thrillogy package of 3 bungee jumps but only managed to do a 2 out of 3 bungee jumps, but failed to do Nevis so Carl, I dont know how you managed to do that!!!
Just came back from 10 pin bowling this evening with the group as it was the last evening to be together before everyone go their own way. It was fun and Lisa won both games!
Erm.. what else is there to say? Will update the blog/photos when we do get a free day so we would pay for 24 hours internet access (IF its cheap!)
After Queenstown, we are off to Christchurch before visiting the place (Can't spell the region) for dolphin swimming (If we got any money leftover!!)
So good night guys or should we say good morning to you seeing that you would be waking up as we are typing this.
