Hi Dan & Lisa - Hope you have been having a chill out time in St. Kilda. The rest will have helped your knee get better I should think Dan. you should be in Sydney now where you will spend Christmas & New Year.

We are nearly prepared for Christmas - obviously a busy few days workwise at Budgens. Dad is home and over the jet lag - they messed his flight home up so he got as far as Amsterdam and then had to spend hours there. So near & yet so far! Look forward to catching up with you on the blog.

I saw Oscar when your mum was taking him to the vets, he's lovely, just the same colour as Woody. Its busy with Christmas trees at the nursery, and that machine to wrap them in! Teresa and Katy have been busy making wreaths. Sue and I are still tidying the stock beds. Hope you and Lisa have a very happy christmas "on the beach"? it will seem strange being mid summer there. Oscar had his op today to take away his manhood! Ahhhh. The notes given to me when I picked him up said he would be sleepy, stiff and sore for 24hours- so the first thing he did was play with his toys! It also said to feed him small amounts and not to be surprised if he went off his food for a few days - so when he hasn't been playing he has been eating!!

Glad you've had a chance to chill out a bit since arriving in Oz. Pip and Margaret send their regards to you both.

Hope you 2 are ok and looking forward to a stress free Christmas, work at the hospital is really busy at the mo, I think it's the stress of Christmas making people ill!

Read little bits of your blog - re the neighbours actors you met - Rachael (Caitlin in real life) is my friend Tim's niece ie her Mum comes from Norwich and her granny and grandad still live here! You should have given her your address so she can visit when she's next over!!

Just to say we recieved all the postcards and letter this week so they are all up on the pinboard in order.

You said you had been getting some money from the council, you have been getting a wage slip send here too. Dont use the money just in case it is a mistake, i will try to find out what it is.

You credit card still hasn't arrive. Jenny phoned to tell me that she recieved the letter with your contact lense prescription in, so is giving it to the family friend to five to you in melbourne.

I am now off to bingo so wish me luck, i went last week but didnt win a thing, so it's my turn tonight.
