What an awesome day visiting Guy and Geni Sheilds in Grants Pass and Ben, Katie and Lilly Giesbrecht in Medford. I don't think Tim has ever taken so long to drive only 225 miles. Usually when he gets into his truck he becomes so focused on getting where he's going that we drive hard until we reach our destination (the longest being 1100 miles - stopping only at the threat of mutiny).One of the most refreshing aspects of our adventure is that we have very few obligations and we are more like Gypsies than we have ever been before.

The kids even expressed that it was nice to be able to visit with Grandma and Co. for more than just a week because there was no pressure that time was going to run out.

Thank you so much family in Salem.Your hospitality was above and beyond and it was particularly special to get to know you as friends rather than just visitors.Sometimes you don't get to really know someone until you've been with them long enough to enjoy silence and inactivity together.
