Tag team back again check it to wreck it lets begin.....Day 11 in the Smith McGann Household. Arrived in Krabi this morning at 11am after a 12 hour ferry/minibus ride. We were told that it was a night boat with sleeping accomodation. Well to say it was a night boat - True (it was a cargo ship transporting Chang and Coconuts). To say that we has sleeping accomodation -true (a few scattered mattresses in the cargo hold where about 25 travellers were crammed in). It was more like illegal immigrants than the QE2!!! Its been an interesting few days or so since we last updated our blog. We spent 4 nights in Ko Phan Ngan and 2 nights in Ko Tao after getting the sleeper train down from Bangkok. That was another crazy experience I tell thee..Every couple around us was getting it on. It was the old men and their Thai prostitutes. I slept through it, Amy didnt ha ha!!! Ear plugs came in handy!! Ko Phan Ngan was ace. We forked out a little extra for our beach front bungalow in Haad Yao..14 quid a night crazy!!!We met some really nice people from SA (As cool as you Stu), America (This dude was off the radar)!, Belgium and Bishop Stortford..The highlight was playing football with the locals at sunset, drinking Chang and going to the beach pool party. Crazy! Many buckets of Samsong later we were in at 6am..Amy fell over bashing her knee and toe. Doctor Smith, utilising the nursing skills of Mama Smith, patched her up. It is looking rather green thu!! We hired a Kayak earlier and went around a few of the bays around Krabi. Very tiring but worth every minute of it! We found a secluded beach all too ourselves...Giggidy.. We are off to Phi Phi tomorrow so really looking forward to that. It looks like we will be in Ko Lanta for xmas. I will miss the pint in The Milton with Big Poppa Smith on xmas day! We will post some pics very soon when we can find some speedy internet cafe. Keep the messages coming as we really miss you all!
Love you lots...Doc Ian and Amy x
