Day 1 in the Smith McGann house. Tuesday got off to a flyer!! Ian had to have root canal on the day of the trip. Reight laugh! Last minute surgery on the tooth costing 320 quid. Happy days.

Got to Heathrow at 6pm( 3 1/2 hours early) only to be told that we didn't have seats together! We then bumped into Gemma B's mate from uni who just so happened to be on the same flight as us and then was also sat with us- needless to say it ended up a bit messy and now we are all best of mates. Met up with them tonight for a few changs, thai food and it endedup with a lost purse (poor you Gem).

No sign of any trouble here in Bangkok, although it's just as crazy as you would imagine, not too sure who the lady boys like more... People are the friendliest and our dinner cost us all of 50p, Smith is happy that at the end of day 1 we are still on budget (even after having hour foot and leg massage!)

Anyways busy day tomorrow up at 7am to go and see some Wats.
