Bonjour!

So now I'm in France :) It's hot, I've navigated Paris and now I'm sat on a train platform in Mantes la Jolie, it's bloody rough!

This morning I was up at 5am after a rubbish nights sleep due to the heat! Bolton also lost 1-0 to Burton Albion so are out of the cup but I did get a shout out on the commentary as I sent them an email! :) Anyway, I got the bus through the Riga suburbs to the airport and check in etc was easy :) I had an ice coffee to wake me up before flying to Paris. When I landed I turned my 3G back on and had an email from Marko at the Helsinki Hostel to say he had been able to collect my wallet! :) Good news at last...

I then got a train to the Gare du Nord, a tube across Paris to St Lazare and made the next train by a whisker! Picture this... A guy with a 14kg rucksack on his back, a small but full rucksack on his front, wearing flip flops, sprinting through a jam packed train station! My ticket printed at 11:09am the train left at 11:10am.... I call that perfect timing :)

On the train I managed to sort out a courier to collect my wallet from Helsinki and send it back home. It cost £30 but at least I'll get it back... All I'm bothered about is a little picture of me and my sister as babies, how cute is that! It actually used to be in my Grandad's wallet so that's why I want it :)

It's now 12:08pm and my next train is at 12:36pm. It should take about an hour to Rouen where Mum and Dad will be waiting to pick me up in the Motorhome :) I'm looking forward to a good bed and Mum's cooking, Dad's if we BBQ :)

I'm off to find a drink as I'm melting here!

Good morning from 'The Fun Bus!'

It's 10:02am and I've just had my first lie in, all be it only until 9:30am! Mum's just making breakfast, Dads sorting the stuff outside as its threatening to throw it down and in the distance we can hear thunder and see lightening!

Yesterday after my mission across Paris and northern France I was walking alongside the road outside the station at Rouen and decided to thumb yet another lift! This time a really nice couple in a Motorhome stopped and even offered me a bed for a few nights and a lift home! How kind :)

Last night after a swim in the pool and drinks in the sun we had a BBQ and shared our stories of the last few weeks. Today we're making our way north and will call at Dieppe to have a look if the weather doesn't cause too much trouble!
It's now pretty much black outside and it's starting to rain very heavily! There is a great smell of bacon coming from the kitchen so I'll say goodbye for now :)
