Hi all,
I can't believe that i am home!! Its all a bit surreal and hard to deal with. It's been great to see my family, friends and most of the dungeonites these past few days. Nothing much has changed at home except a large number of new roundabouts around town!!
My avacado consumption has reached dangerous new levels since i have returned. Its so nice to eat fruit and vegetables after a diet of cheetos and the occasional crap sandwich.
I had my first interview yesterday so progress has been made. I am supposed to be applying for a job online just now but my brain is mush due to serious jet lag problems. i spent most of the night reading magazines as i couldn't ge to sleep.
I'd like to say a big thanks for everyone's nice messages over the past 14 months - they have really kept me going during hard times and made me laugh on a regular basis.
I would also like to say a massive thank you to inspector gadget (mum) and neighbourhood watch (dad) - without you guys this would never have been possible.
I have really had an amazing experience, one which i will never forget. It's been a real personal challenge - don't worry, I'm not going to say that i found myself or anything gay like that!!
I'd like to say i've become a more organised, tolerant and less clumsy individual on my travels but I'd have to say the complete opposite is true!
I managed to get through alot of belongings
- 7 cameras
- 3 jackets
- 1 pair of trainers
- 2 credit cards
- over 10 sets of housekeys
- 2 bags
- 2 purses
there's probably more but i think this list is sufficient enough!
Bye everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Smithers over and out
P.S Does anyone know if there is a special trust fund for returning travellers?!
