hi all,

just a quick not as my pennies are running low on the computer. I am now in new zealand - woo woo! What a mission today! left at 3in he morning, got a flight to brisbane then another flight to christchurch. There was not one screaming child, but two on the plane. I seriously struggled to cope with them. needless to say i didn't get much nap time. My day got worse when i got to custome - they are EVIL! the guy seemed really suspicious of me for some reason and was asking me lots of weird questions. next thing i know, i get a tap on the shoulder and i had to get my bag thoroughly searched. The guy was so rude he nearly made me cry.

Got to the hostel and there was a massive queue out the door. It took an hour and a half to sign in! Still, my room is nice. its a girls only block so no stinky boys! I must have fallen asleep as i woke up and it was suddenly 8pm. I then went for a walk round christchurch - it's not really a happening place and it's a cold 15 degrees.

Im heading away at 7 am tomorrow to kakoura to see whales, i can't wait! It feels good to be on the road again!
