Managed to get as far as my home town Plymouth!
Arrived here mid week on Wednesday 10th October after a ferry crossing from Jersey with my 10 year old Fiat barchetta and as much of my personal belongings that I could jam into it. Strange feeling leaving your own home and letting it out to a stranger and giving him the key. He is a dentist so hopefully he will be good with the old pollyfilla when the rubbish DIY I did starts coming apart in about 6 weeks....
So in an internet cafe in Plymouth, finally completing my round the world plans, places to visit and hardest of all the actual route....so much to see out there and so little time as they say. Spent all day yesterday in a trekking shop buying all my gear. By the time I finish not sure who had the most stock, me in the boot of the car or what I left them with. Had trouble carrying it all to the car it was so heavy...maybe I have got too much or hopefully its all the damn packing crap you get nowerdays.
Earlier last week I spent 2 whole days queuing at the Chinese and Indian embassies for my visas. What a time consuming and brain deadening process, still one has to do it.
Just finished planning a mini trip on my motorbike up to Isle of man to see my old freinds before I take off (literally). Gonna be up there next weekend and really lookign forward to it.
Enough for now........Steve
