Hi Everyone,

On the 18th got up really early and went up to see the ¨Christ the Reedeemer¨ statue at Corcovado in Rio. What a view of the city, got some great snaps and will post them later/soon. then midday off to the bus station for a 4 hour bus to a place called Parathi - old colonial town about 4 hours south of Rio.

Stayed there overnight and got up early to stroll along the beaches, litterally 100´s of them and all just like picture postcards and the beach out of 007 Dr No. Late morning got on another bus out of Parati to San Paulo. A 6 hour coach ride but was great sightseeing, and the coach was fantastic with virtually bed-seats. Got to San Paulo around 6pm and into Pousada (like a guest house). Catching up with things this evening like blog, laundry and planning next week.

Tommorrow going to try to get ticket to watch Brazil V Urguay as this is on. All sold out but will be touts outside the ground. Wish me luck. I will be scouting for any talent and seeing if they wish to sign for ¨The Pilgrims¨. Brazillians like to play fancy entertaining football so home park must be their natural place to be!

This Thursday I fly from San Paulo to Buenos Aires and I am really looking forward to that.
