Hey All just arrived saftley back in bangkok!(so the worries dont!) we are all good,we had the most amazing week! stayed with tribes and it was back to basics! this is cool tho really fun! got an over night train to chaing mai that took around 12 hours! arrived and spent the day there,its a nice place a lot more chilled thank bangkok! second day took a trek for about 3 hours to a tribe village called the KAREN tribe it was cool tho just got used to our surrondings(they were so sureal) in the night played some cards and avodied huge bugs it was so mad they were huge! got up early the next day and walked to a camp were we took an elephant ride down a river!this was one of the best things iv ever done elephants are so intersting but smelly! our elephant was called pooay! he was obviously new to the walk he kept taking alternative routes!! anyway arrived at the next tribe called the RED LAHOU tribe this was amazing there were loads of little kids here and loads of puppies! i sat on the steps outside our hut and made paper airoplanes for about 5 of the kids who were absouletly amazed at this and soon became my best friends! lucy had all the little tribe girls counting her hair extensions and cuddling her whilst the boys played with planes and stole my juggling balls! woke up the next day real early again and took a short walk to the river again and with the aid of about 6 tribe kids made our way down the river on bamboo rafts!! so sweet and so much fun splahing each others rafts!! these last few days have been some of the best in mine and i think lucys too-its not everyday you interact with elephants and tribes! We are both really happy to have done this and are so grateful for what we did/saw anyways going to see ladyboy shows tonight in some mad club!! leave for koh samui tomorrow night-12 hour bus ride(oh yay!) will keep you all posted untill the who knows what will happpen! love to you all Sam and Lucy x
