well, since me last entry I have done many many things, including dressing up in bin liners at Lake Mahinapua, climbing a glacier in the pouring rain at Franz Josef, pancake-making at the Goldridge hotel with Squid and Natalie and jumping off the Nevis bungy, the tallest in Nz - 134metres of it. I have a little break here now with family, then off to the Catlins with me to meet some penguins, until then, adieu x

here I am at karamea, a rather wonderful hippy-esque establishment literally at the end of the road. Am living off $15.20 this week, plust the occasional free egg from the chickens. It's raining quite a lot and I want my violin. Yes I know I know, I want never gets. So far I have been feeding the fire and painting my room weird and wonderful designs with the only colour paint that now remains: blue.

today it was windy. Very windy. But we went to collect my new passport. NB: my birthday is now the 22nd october which means I get two birthdays this year which is very good seeing as I missed out on a cake last week. Went also to New St Pauls cathedral which was spacious and not as nice as the Old St Pauls. It's now raining, but I am feeling fine coz I had srambled eggs on toast with bacon for lunch.
