On New Years day we treated ourselves to breakfast at a cafe on the waterfront which was an idylic setting and delicious food! Then we caught the ferry across to Taronga Zoo where the highlights were feeding giraffes, the seal show, the elephants and big cats.
We came home before going back out for dinner to a restaurant recommended to us by Matt and his brothers called BBQ King in chinatown. We really enjoyed the food and had a wonder around and a look in a Japanese stationary shop which was really cool!
This morning we drove ourselves out to the Hills campus of Hillsong church in a car Matt and Michelle had lent us. Thankfully we also had Avril and Ken's TomTom to help! The worship was brilliant and the message was great too. Their building is enviable and we were lucky enough to be allowed to see the gallery where they produce their programmes from and mix the services. It was all very cool and I could tell Phil was nearly bursting with excitement!
This afternoon we made an effort to drive to The Rocks, an area with shops, restaurants and a big market. We got lost on the way there and on the way back but made it eventually and the area is really nice, plus we did a little bit of shopping.
This evening Matt and Michelle are coming around and we are having dinner at home. Tomorrow we catch our flight to Melbourne to see Phil's Aunty Roma. We are looking forward to slowing the pace down a little from Sydney.

Gillian Glad to hear Hillsong was so good. Had you mentioned to someone that he was into TV production or was it just on offer anyway? He must have been made up. Glad you enjoyed Sydney so much Matt has certainly looked after you well. Give our love to Aunty Roma. Love you xxxxxx
