This day was pretty chill all around. I woke up early with the darn birds being crazy loud once again and I did not want to get out of bed this morning. I finally got going and decided that I should force myself on a bit of a run. My feet have been hurting me with cuts and such that do not seem to want to heal. I bandaged them up as best I could and was off. Every step was painful and I was trying to find a trail that I had heard of but I went to the beach in search of it and did not find it, therefore I decided to head back in the same direction as the walk I went on yesterday. When I got to the trail head I decided to take the trail head I had not taken yet. It was OK but nothing great and it did not really lead anywhere so it was a bit of a let down. My pace that started as a very slow jog then turned into more of a hike. I was at least outside enjoying some nice weather and being active so that made me happy enough. I returned to the hostel after an hour and a half. I ate a peanut butter sandwich had a granola bar and then decided I might as well read in the bungalow for a while. I read for about an hour and then went to the covered bar common area to read some more and update my journal which I had been a fee days behind. My roommates Paul and Stein decided they wanted to go to the beach and ask me if I wanted to join them, which I declined. They went and got their supplies for the beach and then it just started to down poor rain. They waited until what they thought the heaviest rain had passed and then headed to the beach. I rained on and off for the entire afternoon which is a little crazy for a place that advertises that it has 240 sunny days a year. I also said good bye to my new friends Peter and Rachael and they went on the Bungalow Bay animal tour before they left and said it was great. I had a nice and relaxing afternoon and I even decided to go back to the room and take a nap. That evening Paul was giving me a hard time for sleeping so much but I could not be bothered with that. I was preparing my dinner in the kitchen when him and Paul came back later that night and for some reason they saw me making just noodles and offered me to share the fish burgers that they had bought and were having for dinner. I ended up getting two of the fish burgers and they went pretty well with my plate of noodles. Nothing else to report on the day pretty uneventful but I knew the next day I would need to get my act together and plan some of the next parts of my trip.
