A familiar shot now thankfully as I bid goodbye to the uk again. There is a baby at the front of the cabin which I can only assume won't be joining us for too much longer.
I am provisioned with one yorkie and one packet of BBQ hula hoops but there is no guarantee they will make it back to australia.
Plan for the flight - champagne, lunch/movie and then a couple of hours of work to justify the seat.

The captain just formed us of a delay due to a flight planning issue caused by the sudden and unexplained closure of Iraq airspace. Fortunately we have found a route that sneaks us along the irania border. Too much information??

Ok so the baby did stay. The baby seems to have been very unhappy all night. Now I'm unhappy.
