Forgot to write about our time in Washington DC so thought we would quickly fill u in. Stayed with Daniel (mate from Australia) & his fiancé Emily. They have a nice apartment just outside of DC. They took us to the major attractions like the Lincoln memorial and of course the White House. It was great to see it, didn't realise the view we always see in pictures is actually the back of it. Had a guy with a sniper pacing on the roof, scary! We got to meet Emily's family who were really nice and see the Washington wizards in the NBA. America was fun but we are looking forward to our time in Central America!!:)
