hello! we have arrived in Laos after 2 days on the Meking River in a slow boat. it took 8 hours each day and the scenery was absolutley amazing...we ate loads and had to play all sorts of games to keep us entertained as after a while the scenery all became the same! It has also started to get verrry cold so ali and i had as much wrapped round us as possible and were practically sitting on each others laps! We have only packed for the summer it seems and hot weather and we are totally unprepared for english weather - we have started to get colds now! We have been exploring today on our bikes - the locals are so friendly, we also watched a parade, which was very sweet. Thinking about going on a trek through the jungle, however we have to have the appropriate gear to go, so more shopping required! Update soon, xxx
