Finally we arrive in Hanoi it's Sunday 7am and we left Natrang on Friday 6pm by bus. We booked with Camel travel and what a bloody joke ther are!!!! We paid for direct sleeper bus wich would take 24 hrs. After reaching half way to change buses we and a load of other people were told we had to stay in a ghost town for 2 days as the buses were full. ( wich means If you use the camel travel group you are not certain where your ticket will get you as we have had this trouble all the way through vietnam . They will not help you at all and will scam as much money from you as they can .So after many argument and verbal abuse they got us a taxi to a bus . The bus then takes us 5 mins round the Corner back to where we started .At this point I was really ready to pop so shouted I want a full refund or the police , after 2 hrs of this they said we can get on bus but will have to sleep on floor!!!! So with a few diazepam off we went and am now in Hanoi f***ing freezing and looking for flights back to Thailand ASAP never to return to vietnam as long as I live . As many other travellers weve spoken to have all said the same, so bring on the land of smiles ,where you don't get scammed every 10 minutes and the people are nice.It's real cold here and have just had a women follow me trying to sell me a t/shirt. It feels more like Mumbai here. At least the food is nice lol. Still I'm glad I've come and travelled through it all it was a great experience .Tickets are now booked so will be in Phuket tomorrow evening yippppeeee £150 because we have to change at Bangkok .
