Arrived here in the rain after 4 hrs on the bus $5 to a crowd of tuk tuk drivers fighting for your money to take to hotel. After shouting a few words and telling one of them just to leave me alone i realise he is our free driver to hotel.We have just had dinner 2 drinks 2 main meals (fresh pork with basil and steam rice) and a starter fresh spring rolls(these are like a little taste of heaven) it all came to $6.Even cheaper than Siem Reap.Just had the best day so far . We went on a 5hr round trip to see the mountain top temples and Buddha (amazing ) and we had to walk up ourselves lol.Fantastic views. Also went on a bamboo train! . Because they don't have a rail network the locals built a single line track themselves , wich consisted of four wheels with a bamboo type surface plonked on top wich can hold maximum 4 people with an engine . Now when two of these trains meet head on the one with the lowest load have to get off and the train is lifted off to let ther other carry on ( hilarious ). Was fantastic to be on more like a roller coaster and all for $5 each .
