At last, im here!! After 24 hours in transit, i finally arrive in Bangkok, with a healthy dose of jetlag. Its currently 8am and i have been up and about for hours, avoiding tuk tuk drivers and randon Oirish peeps returning home from big noights out.

Let me elaborate further, i got here after a good 24 hour journey. My first flight was fine, Gulf Air upgraded me to business class (thanks sis for the advice to wear a shirt) and as it was my first time i see why everyone says they never go back to cattle class. Great food, service and although the films were rubbish (Drillbit Taylor) i enjoyed myself.

Second flight, total opposite, blagging the upgrade again only got me a rubbish seat in cattle, a worse film than you could download so my flight was sponsored by my ipod and the book i read in one flight:- Cityboy! Beer and Loathing in the Square Mile. Good read and surprisingly accurate to my life in London!!

Anyhow, i am here in the dirty Khao San Road with all the posh English Uni students and the hedonistic Irish and really annoying Tuk-Tuk drivers. Jetlag is ensuring i am getting up as they all get home at 3am but I'm off to Koh Samui tonight (overnight bus and speedboat) and will there tomorrow in time for breakfast which will be a pleasant upgrade from Bangkok. I've been here before and will pass via on my travels later this month so im not sightseeing at all this time round.
