OK, it has rained pretty much non-stop since i arrived in Laos. Its fairly warm but the rain is taking the edge of this country. Luang Prabang is a beautiful town, buildings very french colonial and the people are friendly. Ill upload some photos today of a boat trip we did to some caves with 1000's of years worth of buddha statues. Not that exciting, but remember Laos is still building its tourism industry! Its bizarre, they have not really got the hang of it yet. Wont be long though i guess, prices are fairly cheap, but still double this years lonely planet guides. Give it five years and this place will be chaos!!

On another note, went to a village today where they distill rice into whisky, the local moonshine, LAO LAO! Fairly potent stuff, got a couple of bottles for the homecoming.

Not much more to write, off on the next leg of the bus trip. Luang Prabang to Vang Vieng for some tubing action..
