Well here i am Cambodia.

After three weeks in Laos, i am happy to move on now. Crossing the border with Cambodia at its most northern point.

I decided after meeting great people on the bus, not to stop off in local villages in the north but to head to Phnom Penh and try and understand this, another hugely war torn country and see for myself what history has left.

I have an 11 hour bus journey, where i can read " A year of acting stupidly" a book by an American journalist who documents the hugely controversial elections in 1995 after Pol Pot and his Khmer Rouge where removed from power.
