Monday 1st Feb:

So it was time to say bye to KL and hello Singapore, We had to be up very early and we didnt sleep the night before so we were in great form haha, when leavin the hostel the owner thought it a bright idea for us to share a taxi with a scottish hippy, Hannah wasnt impressed cozz she had shushed her the day before anyway she wudnt pay 50C for the taxi so we quickly got rid of her. Got our Air Asia flight @ 12 o clock were so early for the flight, Air asia are sooo not strict although on the main ticket it does say no guns or weapons allowed anymore!!! was a bit annoyed i had to empty my bad :O :O anyway arrived in Singapore around 1.30 bags and all oh the torture, found our way around pretty handy then got the MRT into the town and walked to the hostel,I actually was in so much pain I know how the Hindu's felt last week in KL carrying the milk :O :O Were stayin in Inn Crowd hostel, it has a great atmosphere but the rooms were like prison cells no mirrors and no windows just stone walls it was pretty horrible but internet right outside our door for free which was handy. Weather alot easier to handle that KL which is handy but were still white and its still hard to stick it, on our first day we dropped our bags, all i wanted was mcdonalds, i was ill and wanted nothing less than chinese food its way too hard to handle and then nothing worse than smelling it constantly.. so we set off looking for Mcdonalds and of course got lost so much, we were angry, tired and hungry so we had to ask someone, eventually found it but it wasnt too appetising to be honest, the chicken is brown. That evening we just relaxed and walked around found Bugis Junction it has like a million stalls i was in clothes heaven although everyone here are tiny so were a bit apprehensive as to whether id fit into Singapore one size but i did and got a cheap dress, YAH, had an early night as we knew we had alot to do the next day.

Day 2 in Singapore, we had a sleep in because we were shattered we got on the MRT, which is so handy to get around and so cheap coz u get a dollar back after u get off train, so handy so we went to Orchard Road it supposed to be good for shopping, it was massive and had every shop you cud think of. Again i was in heaven, but i knew i cudnt shop coz no room in the bag :( so what did we do? in one the the biggest shopping capitals of the world we spent 2 hours in New Look!! madness but got some nice stuff, they are basically giving clothes away!! so cheap so coming bak here on way home aswel with an empy suitcase, met these two guys we had met in airport in KL thought that was a bit random, suppose that is bound to happen. that night we went to Clarke Quay, we said we wud be good and walk coz it didnt seem too busy so we dolled ourselves up and off we trotted.. and we trotted and trotted and trotted. we were sooo lost!! walking for ages!! so eventually after so long we had to ask someone and he was like oh ya go that way 2 and half miles :O :O no way!! so we hopped on MRT, Clarke Quay was class loads of funky bars and so many places to eat we walked around for an hour to find someplace to eat, but i had seen Hooters and had my heart set on there haha.. so i got my way and we went back to Hooters, duno why but i was convinced that Hugh Hefner would be there to whisk me off to the Playboy mansion so life the high life, but it didnt happen.. Hannah made a very good point that it was Asian Hooters and that they only wanted Asian girls that made me feel better haha.. they were hot though, the women are so Hot and so well dressed! so that night anyway we went for a drink in a bar the drink is so expensive, iv started drinking beer, i know shocker, but it was really expensive even for the local beer so only had one, we had a gorgeous evening. looked around and there was a Bungee Jump in to the air kinda thing i was sooo tempted to do it, i nearly bought the ticket but then said id wait til Thailand, so glad i did because I watched 2 people do it and i wud have actually dropped dead like!! had to run for the train then and headed home to find a sink full of vomit in the bathroom. YUK!! the joys of hostels.

Day 3 in Singapore,

Got no sleep again, but we got up very early to go to Senosa Island, its a man made Island off the Harbour, we had hear it was really tacky beach resort so we really didnt have any idea of what to expect. so off we went and got the MRT again, We went and there were special tickets for 36.00Dollars but we found a ticket for 3Dollars. the island is so cool, we said we wud try all the free stuff haha. so we went on a nature walk, I have no interest in nature anyway the girl said if we look really close then we wud see animals, i thin it was more that if we look really close we might imagine seeing an animal because there was none. it was cool though walking across a foot bridge in the middle of trees, we decided to go back but yet again we got lost and walked around and around for ages, we had already walked up like over 100 steps and on the last batch i looked over and saw the escalator, as u can imagine we were sickened, so wrecked from the heat and the walking we wanted to find the beach, got a bus down to it, it was actually like Paradise, OM MY GOD it was amazing and there was noone there so we had it to ourselves, it was just amazing!! Hannah hopped straight in in her clothes i pretty much did they same, we cud have stayed there all day it was just amazing! turquios water, palm trees everywhere oh it was class, so after a few hrs there we decided to make a move so we hopped on the bus again waiting for it to take us to the top so we were on it for ages and after a while we ended up going a full circle and ended up at the beach again haha so we had to get a tram, very funny.I had seen these things called Luges that are supposed to be great fun. they were cheap so we said we may aswel.. so we geared up in our very attractive helmets, (so attractive the pictures didnt even make facebook) got a 5 second training and off we went, it was basically a little go cart with a stop and go down a track at high speed. it was sooooo brilliant!! we flew down, and some eejits decided to stop to take pictures but it was too late to stop for us and we were swinging through families at high speed it was soooo funny, hannah kicked my ass though... From there we went on a sky train, it was like those things that u get when going skiing.. I hopped on not a bother on me but like im sooo afraid of heights Hannah was hanging out the side i was holding on for dear life it seemed to go on for ever!! but i got over it without passing out with the fear so was happy out:) came back then and got ready to hit the town again, our first stop was Raffles, its a really really posh hotel that is super exclusive and expensive so we went in, it is so gorgeous, thank god we put por gladrags on for the night. we got our seat out on the terrace and we were presented with a massive thing of nuts that u throw the shells on the ground i felt awftul bad but the place was destroyed, had a lovely evening but time flew, so got the MRT to Chinatown around half 10. the buzz there was really lively, for so late like so we ended up eating there but were too full after all the peanuts haha, had to get the MRT home before it finished, it was a really nice evening.

Last day in Singapore, got up and packed. and dropped our bags off, we went for lunch and sat down to soak the sun in a little bit more but were too hot so sat in the shade ha and i wonder why still no Tan, heading to Airport now, AGAIN, for Bali, cannot wait 2 wks beside the beach, this is the life, will keep ye updated, miss home lots,
