Our finals day (or part thereof) in New York. We checked out and headed down to the 9/11 Memorial. It is on its way to being a wonderful tribute and memory to those who died, not only in the Twin Towers, but also to those in the Pentagon and on the hijacked flights. It does take forever to get in though - queue to get into the place to get tickets, queue to get tickets, queue to have someone scan the tickets, queue to get through the security check.

We headed back to the hotel after lunch to collect our bags and then to Penn Station for the train to Boston. Through the beautiful countryside we travelled and arrived into Boston about 7pm. A quick walk to the hotel to find that they had overbooked and now had no double/double rooms left like we had booked. We ended up being upgraded to a junior suite (very nice) and a $100 comp. Woot woo :). Night all :)
