Howdy all! and agian we have gotten to lazy and have left this for a very long time!
ok so where did we leave this...
so when we last wrote (when i say we i mean simmons again) we where in Dunedin. that place was great because it was kinda like home as in it was full of students. the biggest club in town i think was the place we went to. cant remember the name but it was hot, sweaty and cramped. matt still managed to pull some shapes and mime dance.
the day after we went to the Catlins. took the southern secenic route with great veiws and lots of things to do like a waterfall walk. at about 7ish we arrived in Invercargill. really not a nice thing to say about that. bluff was the most southern anyone of us have been in our life so far and that was cool.
after that we traveled north to franz joseph glacer and did some Ice climbing. it was good. you went up and then you came down. exiting stuff!
then we again went north to Hokatika and when to a wild foods festival where we ate grubs, balls, worms and i ate a live cricket :D all washed down with lots of beer until i fell asleep on a beach.
the day after, me and liv sporting bad hangovers we felt fo make knifes. i descovered the perfect hangover cure. dont where socks and acientally whilst hiting white hot metal with a hammer on an anvil get a spark in your shoe. once yuo have done this hop up and down screaming.
that night we went to the only bar in town/ only buildind in town. we all got very drunk but nobody even came close to matt who anounced that the matrix was a load of crap and he hated it. then he anouced that everyone we ahd met that day where boring b******s and he ws off to watch the matrix.
since then we have been traveling with 3 ppl from knife making who are convinced that matt is the funniest person on the planet! that night he clearly was btw!
we traveled with the, samma, ricky and chris from nottingham around able tasman and down to kikoria where i went whale watching and saw 2 sperm whales. i have yet to complete my dream of punching a blue whale in the face but i am still hopeful.
now onto the tragic news. on the way to the ferry to wellington the van died and went to heaven/ a scrap yard. there was a hole in the engine the size of a gold ball but luckly of travel buddies came to the rescue and got us to the ferry where we sailed to wellington.
more in a month or so (kidding)
xx
