Here I am, one week before my big adventure. Months of planning has finally come down to a meager seven days. I'd be lying if I said my bags weren't already packed, by the door, ready to go. Let's just say I've prepared for it all and packed an emergency kit to prove it! Better safe than sorry am I right? ;-)

International travel has always been something I've desired but I've yet to make my way across the pond. Why Croatia? Why not? From its stunning Adriatic coastline to its historically rich cobblestone streets; I just had to see it for myself. I needed this adventure. No more waiting.

Truthfully I'm not exactly sure what to expect from this fourteen day solo journey. Will I get lost? Will I get lonely? I hope that by encouraging myself to go outside of my comfort zone I will discover a new sense of self. An adventurous self at that. If nothing else I hope to explore new places, enjoy plenty of local wine and meet a few new faces along the way. No pressure right? Well, here goes nothing!
