Hello, did you place my bet? Did I win? Happy Australia Day!!!! Looks like it's still pretty cold over there. Good to see your packing lots in. I'm going to Margaret River for two days on my own for some me time, to regain my sanity. Can't believe you guys are back in 4 weeks, it's flown by.

Your weekly water polo report is here. C grade won 10-0 tonight, which worked in D grade favour cause I pinched Chelsey and Toni, as we were down to 8 (no Jody or Kerry) but had already roped in Leah, so we had 10 in the end. We lost 4 - 2 to Melville, but played quite well and were abit unlucky with one of the first qtr goals especially. Leah played goals 1st qrt, Annette played 2nd, and Teagan played 3rd and 4th, Teagan is getting better at goals but sometimes rushes her passes out. Annette scored again from CF and Leah got a goal on the run (swim). Though found out tonight that at the start of the season Sophie's dad promised her $10 per goal she scored this season. I said if I had known that I would have had her in front of goals all bloody season taking pot shots and making sure she was getting plenty of the ball (for a nice cut of the profit of course). It only came out cause she scored 3 goals in busselton on the weekend in the tri series. Colleen was asking where you girls were tonight, she noticed the regulars weren't there!!! Glad probably!!! You guys need to update your blog too........ Only 12 more days till Jacob starts Pre-primary!!!

Hello, ready for your water polo update??? We won 8-4 v Phantoms. Annette played first qtr goals and then Kerry asked to go in 2nd qtr as the body was giving her some grief, and she did so well we left her there (she was happy to of course). Annette got 2 goals both from CF, Jodie got one from CF, Teagan one, Hayley one, Kerry got 2 goals in the first qtr, and Sophie finally scored her first goal. Sophie also had a really good 3rd qtr, she kept getting dragged into CB but with Kerry and I in her ear she did a really good job on this girl and held her own. Teagan had a storming game for fast breaks, the girls let her down a little in the following up. Jodie was so surprised she won her swim up she actually swam past the ball and had to go back for it. Hayley and Morgan are coming along, Hayley is all arms everywhere. Deb took training on Monday night and really gave them a going over, I saw Deb at the pool tonight and told her that the girls had commented how hard it was and she reckoned she even woke up Tuesday morning with a bit of a sore back. Everyone seemed pretty happy to forfeit next week...... may just have to go in swinging!!

Happy New Year to you all. It feels as cold as New York here! I have spoken to your dad today who says the coolest it has been recently for them is 37C. Don't know if you heard but tell Emma the Aussies lost 2-0 to the South Africans at cricket. The UK press have dubbed them Edna Average! Keep having fun and tell Tara to concentrate on Hawaii and it should help her forget the cold. All the best. Seamus, Suzanne & Eily XXX

-.. . .- .-. SET, By now you must be in New York and on your way to Time Square to see the new year in there, as part of the master plan. Mum and myself were in the company of the Dubliners, Kilkenny, and Howling Wolfs when the new year arrived here. Over the past couple of days we have sharks menacing the beaches and taken a 50yo diver at Port Kennedy, he was about 20meters of the beach. If the poms who are coming over soon here about this we will never get them in the water. Chris and John have just called from the U.K. Their new year has just come in, so if you get touch with us here we will have seen in 3 new years in the one day. I will give the Guinness Book of records a call! I will have to stop now i have RSI in my finger. Samantha what i said about the sharks is not true. There are no sharks on WA beaches. .-.. --- ...- . Mum and Dad.
