Our last day in sunny San Diego was spent at the zoo. Tara didn't end up coming as she wasn't feeling very well (I think some of that tequila tasting from Saturday night may have caught up with her =P) so Emma and I headed off pretty early, determined to spend the entire day wandering the zoo. Santa Barbara was just what we needed. We arrived in at 7pm last night and just crashed at our hotel. We drove along the coast to get to it and could see the ocean from the balcony but it was dark and a bit cool so we didn't head out. This morning....beautiful,magnificent, magical....it's gorgeous!! Hello from San Francisco!! We arrived in late last night so just made our way to the hotel and crashed, promising to get up early to explore the city. We made it out the door at 8:30am and arrived at the visitor centre to find it didn't open till 9am even though the guide book said 8:30am....grrrrrr!! Yosemite is the most beautiful place on Earth! While we were back to freezing cold weather (it didn't actually snow while we were in Yosemite but as you can see from the photo's there was still snow from the last fwe days around!), the place is gorgeous and with all the walking that you do, you soon start to warm up.
