hi so its been a pretty intense couple of weeks. ive left my job and all the great friends i made there. there were plenty of tears and i already miss pwc swansea! they gave me some lovely gifts and a great send off! i feel very priveliged to have spent almost 10 months there. Then...i had to pack up pretty much everything i own and fill my poor little car to leave swansea. my home for 4 years. leaving the beach and my close friends was very difficult, especially leaving our own little house in sandfields, saying goodbye my personal space & independence until i can afford to rent somewhere else in the winter. we went out for a lovely meal in the mermaid in mumbles. it was a fantastic way to end an era, and i felt very loved. thanks so much for coming everyone. some good news... i found out last week that i have been accepted onto the masters course in kings college i have been dreaming about for 3 years. i never thought id get in, but the deposit's in the post and now from sept i shall be a student again, studying for a taught MA in Intelligence and International Security. last saturday me and dad went to thruxton to complete my graduation present, a single seater racing car experience! i spent thje day surrounded by ferraries, porsches and lamboughinis... it was wicked.... instruction in a new mazda rx8 before i had a go for 3 laps trying to get to grips with the racing lines. then 5 laps in an formula renault which was noisy and frightening! i did get a bit into it by the last lap, and got quite fast. then a final hair raising lap with mad mat. a great day!!! Anyway... tomorrow im off on my big adventure. im getting final bits of organising done. slightly distracted yday by cooking dinner- a feast- as emma and kelly came over. i also made rhubarb crumble. be impressed! but back to getting organised today. i fly at 3pm from heathrow, go back in time a bit and get to Lima sometime tomorrow morning... so i guess ul hear from me soonish. from lima or cuzco, wherever i can find a good internet place. please leave me messages in the meantime! love you all xxx
